GV ESP
Electrostatic Precipitator
Advanced Air Purification Solutions
An electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is a highly efficient filtration device that removes fine particulate matter, like dust and smoke, from exhaust gases. It uses high-voltage electrical energy to charge particles, which are then magnetically drawn to and trapped on oppositely charged collector plates without impeding the gas flow.
Pre-Filter Technology – Functions as an air distribution panel, ensuring uniform airflow and trapping larger particles before they reach the electrostatic plates.
High-Efficiency Filtration – Achieves up to 98% particle removal efficiency, capturing even the finest airborne contaminants.
Automated Power Control – The intelligent electrostatic power control system automatically adjusts the electric field intensity to optimize filtration performance.
Low Maintenance & Long Lifespan – Designed for continuous operation with easy-to-clean collection plates, reducing filter replacement costs.

How an ESP Works
An electrostatic precipitator operates in four key stages to efficiently remove fine particulate matter from exhaust and flue gases.
- Charging (Ionization): High-voltage electrodes create a corona discharge that charges airborne particles as the gas passes through.
- Collection:Charged particles are attracted to grounded collector plates and adhere to them.
- Dislodging: Accumulated particles are removed by mechanical rappers (dry ESP) or washed off with water (wet ESP).
- Disposal: Dislodged material falls into hoppers at the bottom for safe disposal or recycling.
